Royal International Air Tattoo 2011

Air Arms are Dwindling Year after Year, Countries are cutting back on airshow participation due to cost.

2011 was also a Non Farnborough Air show Year which has helped attract some aircraft over the last few Years and the weather gods didnt help this Year.

Those are a few of the negatives......... However!

Which Airshow can you still go to and see still a vast amount of Military Aircraft.

From the Spitfire and p51 to the very modern Day Voyager tanker Aircraft soon to enter service with the RAF. Highlights for me flying were the A10 Demo team from Davis Monthan Arizona and the C27 from the Italian Airforce.

In the Static there was a good selection of Tiger painted aircraft from this Years 50th Anniversary of Tiger Meets held at Cambrai in France.

The real highlight for many though went to the Ukranian SU27 Flanker and its support aircraft the IL76 ......... Roll on 2012 !!!!!
