LFA7  Mach Loop

Scenic, quiet ,Landscapes, action, adrenaline, Aircraft ....... the Mach Loop in Wales has it all.

With plenty of space and hills, parts of Wales offer the Raf the ideal location to conduct some of there training sorties. Low level flying throught the Mountains is common and the Mach loop near Dolgellau is well known as a big roundabout  that the Aircrew can navigate.

The roundabout can be entered and left in several directions so if you go... its time to choose a location.

It really is pot luck which location you choose and if you want the optimum light you will often have to change location as the sun moves around.

Warplane and Low Fly websites are very good for assistance in making your choice.

It can be frustrating and rewarding in a short space of time....
