Krumuvo 24 Airbase

The last 4 operational MI-17 HIP in the Bulgarian inventory aswell as the fleet of AS532 Cougar helicopters are based at the helicopter airfield Krumuvo. A planned stop at the Krumuvo Air Museum on the way to the 60th Anniversary at Bezmer allowed me to view any activity on the adjacent Airfield.

Luckily the Helicopters were up and flying with 1 MI-17 and 1 Cougar operating on the Airfield.If this wasnt enough another Cougar joined the action, operating in a confine just behind the Museum building.

Using fast ropes and troops this cougar was being video filmed as part of a documentary of the Bulgarian Airforce.
